Poowong Football & Netball Club is a vibrant sports club located in the beautiful South Gippsland Shire. Established in 1889, the club has a rich history and is a proud member of the Ellinbank & District Football League.
The club is led by President Ted Attenborough and supported by a dedicated committee consisting of individuals such as Clint Newcombe, Cole Attenborough, Cameron Snell, and more. These passionate volunteers work tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the club.
On the coaching front, the senior football team is led by coaches Mick Hawken and Chris Doria, with Troy Shepherdson serving as the reserves coach. The netball teams are in capable hands with coaches Georgia Chiavaroli, Ashlee Trimble, Abbey Kelson, Mia Blackwood, Ash Snell, Julie Henshall, and Tamara Loughridge.
