Pole Revolution is Tasmania's first pole dancing studio, located in the heart of Launceston. The studio offers a range of classes including pole dancing, burlesque, silks, and lyra (aerial hoop) for both men and women of all ages. The classes are designed to improve strength, general fitness, and boost self-confidence, all while having fun.
At Pole Revolution, the studio features nine custom-made fixed poles, each with a height of 3. 5 metres. The classes offered are designed for both on and off the pole, with options such as Pole Tricks and Spins, Pole Curves, Dance Flow, and many more. The studio is designed to ensure comfort and privacy, with a secure studio area that is not visible from the street and a separate waiting area with tea and coffee facilities.
Upon entering the studio, students are welcomed into a large room filled with chandeliers and natural light, featuring timber floors and full-length mirrors. The studio uses commercial-grade poles sourced from 'World Renowned X-pole,' offering the option of stainless steel or brass finishes. Crash mats and pole grip aids are also available for extra support and protection.
For on the pole classes, the studio keeps class sizes to a maximum of nine students to ensure each student gets the most out of the class without having to share poles. Pole Revolution also offers Burlesque, Silks, and Lyra Hoop classes, with six lyra hoops and ten silks available.
In addition to regular classes, Pole Revolution also offers studio parties for special occasions such as birthdays, bachelor, hens parties, and team building exercises. No experience is required, and parties generally last around 60 minutes. Participants can choose from a variety of party options, including pole, aerial hoop, silks, or burlesque, suitable for all fitness levels.
Pole Revolution maintains a lighthearted atmosphere during parties, focusing on keeping them entertaining with lots of giggles and fun. Towards the end of the party, participants can decide if they would like the instructor to take pictures or record the dance routine. The cost for parties is $25 per person with a minimum of 10 participants. For those with fewer than 10 participants, a flat fee of $250 is required, with the possibility of negotiating a better deal.
Additionally, party participants receive free use of the “champagne room” for half an hour after the party, where they can relax with friends and enjoy drinks and food.
