Plympton Flyers Little Athletics Club

Plympton Flyers Little Athletics Club is a sports club based in Adelaide, South Australia. They offer a Sunday morning athletics programme at Hamilton Secondary College from October through March. The club aims to encourage children aged from U/6 to U/17 to strive for their personal best in a variety of track and field athletic events. They also have a programme called Tiny Tots for younger children aged 3 & 4, which focuses on fun games and skill-building activities.

For those interested in joining, Plympton Flyers offers two free Come & Try sessions, where children can participate in club meets before deciding to register for the season. To register for Come and Try, individuals must create a new Family account and fill in the necessary details online. It is important to register beforehand for insurance purposes. The Come and Try sessions are free of charge, and children are welcome to attend two consecutive meets throughout the season.

On Sunday mornings, participants are required to arrive at 8:45 am and sign in at the registration table, located near the canteen. Children should wear comfortable athletic clothes, a hat, and sneakers. Look for a committee member wearing a blue Plympton shirt, as they will be available to guide newcomers in the right direction.

Registrations for the 2023/24 Summer season are now open, with the season set to begin on October 15th at 9 am. To register, individuals can log in with their ResultsHQ username and password or create a new Family Account if they are new to the club. The club provides a Summer Little Athletics Season Calendar to keep members informed about upcoming events, ensuring they stay connected and engaged with the club.
