Welcome to the Pacific Dragons & Outrigger Canoe Club, a sports club located in Sydney, Australia. Established in 1994, we are a vibrant and inclusive community of over 100 members who are passionate about Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe paddling.
Joining the Pacific Dragons offers a wide range of benefits. Our dedicated coaching teams for Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe push and challenge paddlers to become better athletes. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a beginner, our club welcomes individuals of all skill levels. By joining our club, you'll have the opportunity to improve your fitness, make lifelong friendships, compete in local and international races, and become part of the PDs family.
Located in the beautiful city of Sydney, we have the privilege of training in stunning locations such as Blackwattle Bay and Sydney Harbour. We regularly participate in local races and also compete at the highest level of competition both domestically and internationally.
Our training sessions are held on various days throughout the week to accommodate different schedules. For Dragon Boat, our sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Outrigger Canoe sessions are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, while Single Craft sessions take place on Tuesdays and Fridays. In addition to regular training, we also organise single craft time trials and provide dedicated training programmes for major regattas.
If you're new to paddling, we offer three free trial sessions with no prior experience required. This gives you the opportunity to try out Dragon Boat or Outrigger Canoe paddling and see if it's the right fit for you.
