PEGSCC is a proud club with a rich history that includes 25 topships since the club was founded in 1966. Players such as Test batsman Les Joslin and Dennis Pagan donned the maroon and blue, and the current crop of players are ensuring the future will be just as bright as the past. The club fields four senior teams in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association.
For its first 44 years the club was located at the East Keilor campus of Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School. The club relocated to the newly developed PEGS Sports Fields for the 2011/2012 Season, a facility that has recently been judged to boast the best turf wickets in the VTCA.
The club has recently rebranded from its Old Essendon Grammarians Banner and will commence Season 2012/2013 as PEGS Cricket Club.
New players of all ages, skills, and experience are always welcome.
