Welcome to the official website of the Ormond Amateur Football Club. Established in 1931, the club is proud to be affiliated with the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). With a rich history, Ormond is the 12th oldest club participating in the VAFA and the second-oldest suburban club in the competition.
Ormond Amateur Football Club is primarily based at the EE Gunn Reserve, located on Malane Street in Ormond, Melbourne. The club also shares a close association with its co-tenant and junior club, the Ormond Junior Football Club. The junior club offers Auskick programmes and has teams in all age groups ranging from Under 8s to Under 17s.
The Ormond AFC boasts three senior teams: Seniors, Reserves, and Thirds/U23, as well as an Under 19 team. Over the years, the club has achieved significant success, winning 14 senior topships, 22 reserve leadingships, 11 Under 19 topships, and 1 Thirds premiership. In addition, 47 players from Ormond have gone on to play senior football in the Victorian Football League (VFL) or Australian Football League (AFL).
The club hosts various events throughout the year, including a Season Presentation Night, President's Lunches, and Pasts & Present Players Functions. These events serve as a celebration of the club's achievements and provide opportunities for members and supporters to come together and enjoy the rich history and camaraderie of the Ormond AFC.
