Oran Park Rovers Football Club, based in Camden Council, is a prominent sports club that is deeply rooted within the local community. The club, established in 2014, started with just three teams and was initially located at Wayne Gardener Reserve, Oran Park. However, due to the club's rapid growth and increasing number of teams, it soon outgrew its original facility.
In 2016, Oran Park Rovers achieved their first taste of success with their U/12 Div 3 team finishing the season as leadings and Grand Finalists. The club's first championship came from the Over 35 Div 1 side, who emerged as winners in their respective Grand Final. As participation numbers continued to soar, the club realised the need for a larger ground to accommodate its growing membership.
In 2017, Oran Park Rovers made the move to Jack Brabham Reserve, which coincided with the burgeoning growth of the Oran Park suburb. This relocation allowed the club to expand further and establish its position as one of the largest clubs in the Macarthur Football Association, with over 850 members by 2020.
To cater to the ever-increasing demands of its members, Oran Park Rovers is excited to announce its upcoming move to its brand new home ground at Doohan Reserve in 2021. This state-of-the-art sporting facility boasts four full-size pitches and a split-level clubhouse, providing an optimal environment for training and matches.
Oran Park Rovers Football Club is not only dedicated to fostering a love for football within the community but also to the development of its players. The club offers comprehensive training programmes, ensuring that players of all ages and skill levels receive the necessary guidance and support to reach their full potential.
The club is proud to be a part of the wider community, actively engaging in community events and initiatives. Oran Park Rovers Football Club places great importance on teamwork, sportsmanship, and a sense of belonging, encapsulating the true spirit of Australian football.
