The Old Xaverians is part of the world-wide Jesuit Alumni Association and promotes the principles and philosophies of Jesuit education and the Old Xaverians Hockey Club is an extension of that. The club was established in 1995 with club uniform colours being red, black, and white. The Old Xaverians Hockey Club has four senior Men’s teams and two women’s teams. The firsts play in the Victorian State League 1 (equivalent to State League 2) and the seconds in the reserves (roughly equivalent to the current Pennant B).
