Welcome to Oak Park Tennis Club! Situated in J P Fawkner Reserve at the bottom of Francis St, Oak Park Tennis Club is one of the largest tennis clubs in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. The club is proud to be an active member of all the Northern Suburbs competitions, offering members the opportunity to compete in a variety of competitions such as Juniors, Night comps (Ladies, Mens and Mixed), Thursday day Ladies, and Saturday afternoons. Applications for the upcoming season are now open.
Not only does Oak Park Tennis Club cater to competitive players, but also to social players. Every Monday, the club organises a Social night starting at 7pm. This is the perfect opportunity for beginners, rusty players, or anyone looking to hone their skills and have some fun on the court. No booking is required, simply come on down and join in!
The clubhouse facilities at Oak Park Tennis Club are modern and open to all members. From a newly refurbished Club House with a modern kitchen to energy-efficient hot water, bright and spacious rooms, disabled-friendly ramp entry, restrooms with disabled toilets and baby change facilities, and a shower, the club ensures that all members have access to top-notch amenities.
The club boasts seven courts with a mod grass surface and an additional court with a Rebound Ace surface. These well-maintained courts provide a great playing experience for members. In addition, Oak Park Tennis Club also offers a gazebo and BBQ facilities for members to enjoy.
Oak Park Tennis Club is proud to be a member of the “Good Sports Programme,” promoting a safe and inclusive sports environment. The club warmly welcomes anyone interested in joining and encourages them to apply for membership to become a part of this vibrant tennis community.
Membership categories at Oak Park Tennis Club include Adult, Student, Junior, and Family, each calculated on a 12-month period from July to June. Senior citizens and full-time students, who are no longer eligible to play juniors, are also welcome to join. Court keys are replaced by Electronic Access Keys known as FOBs, with each new member receiving one included in their initial joining fee. Additional FOBs may be purchased.
