It gives us great pleasure to introduce Oak Flats Falcons Football Club (OFFFC), based at Keith Bond Oval, Fisher St Oak Flats. The OFFFC is a non for profit organisation which has been established for over 40years and requires the ongoing commitment of our players, committee, and members throughout the year. Our club is solely reliant on the generosity of the local business community via sponsorship agreements and donations in the form of goods, services, and money amounts.
In the last number of years, our club, through the assistance of our sponsors have made substantial improvements to Keith Bond Oval such as fencing around the entire playing surface, a new entry with a fully covered ticket box, erection of a new score board, the construction of 4 mini grandstands, the improvements to our clubhouse, planting of additional native trees, floodlighting for night games and much more…. Plans to further improve our ground with, further extensions to the clubhouse to incorporate a viewing platform and undercover standing, complete redevelopment of our canteen, underground water system for the playing surface and relaying of the playing surface are well advanced.
With the above improvements and the future plans, OFFFC have already had major events held at Keith Bond Oval which attracted not just the local community, but communities throughout the Illawarra, southern Highlands and south of Sydney.
The Falcons field six teams (approx. 110 players) in various competitions in 2015, First, Reserve and Youth Grade’s in the Football South Coast competition. Two teams will feature in the Illawarra Community League and one team in the Illawarra women’s competition shows that we represent a wide range of the local community. The OFFFC is committed to the growth and development of our club through our players, committee members, volunteers, supporters, and sponsors.
