Our women’s gymnastics programme is a semi-competitive programme. We have classes from level 1 (Prep and NDP) up to State level 5. Girls showing potential in our recreational programme are offered positions in our development squads. Gymnasts’ progress through the National and State level systems and compete in competitions at various venues throughout Victoria, although they are predominantly in Melbourne.
Girls develop their skills on the Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, Vault and Floor. Skills are taught in a safe, controlled environment.
Our men’s gymnastics programme is a competitive programme with boys competing at venues around Melbourne. Our boys have performed extremely well at competitions this year placing at each one. Boys showing potential in our recreational programme are offered positions in our development squads. The boys in our programme learn progressive skills in a safe learning environment and train for a minimum of 2 evenings per week.
Boys develop their skills on the Horizontal Bar, Roman Rings, Pommel Horse, Vault, Floor and Parallel Bars.
