NT Badminton Association

The NT Badminton Association is a sports club in Darwin, Australia that welcomes individuals of all ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. The club operates under a new Pay 2 Play system, allowing members to manage their own court bookings and access the Darwin Court. In order to enhance security, the association has recently installed seven state-of-the-art cameras with the help of a $15,000 grant from the NT Government Community Benefit Fund. These cameras cover all areas of the venue as soon as someone enters, ensuring a safe environment for all members and guests.

Territory Technology, with special thanks to Michael Feldbauer, installed the new security system.

The club's website has been brought over to a new platform by Web365, offering a comprehensive online resource for members and prospective players. The website also provides useful information about playing badminton in Alice Springs and Darwin, as well as the option to restring rackets through Karel Sykora at karel. Sykora7@gmail. Com.

The NT Badminton Association prides itself on hosting a range of upcoming and current events for its members. In Alice Springs, there are Junior Development sessions on Wednesdays and Training Groups on Fridays, with online enrolments available. For the NT Juniors, there will be a Junior Competition on Saturday 30 September 2023 at the NT Badminton Centre in Winnellie, Darwin. In Darwin, the club offers a Junior Development Programme, Badminton Basics for Adults, and a Training Group. To join these programmes, individuals can email participation@ntbadminton. Org. au for an invitation.
