Northern Pirates Baseball Club is a sports club located in Wollongong, New South Wales. The club provides opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels to participate in baseball.
The 2021 season has already begun, but it is not too late to join and play. Training sessions are held every Wednesday night from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the University of Wollongong (UOW) on the cricket field in front of URAC. Winter runs from March to September. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, the club welcomes all interested individuals.

The club has a dedicated executive committee and management committee responsible for overseeing its operations. Brendan Sheedy serves as the President, with Chantelle Cornick and Nathan Fitzgerald as Vice Presidents for the senior and junior divisions respectively. Emma Bennett is the Secretary, and Michael Clayden holds the position of Treasurer and Public Officer. The management committee consists of Corey Hayman, Kirra Hamilton, Di Clifford, Al Michealis, and Tim Davey.
Brad Drain is the Head Coach, while Kirra Hamilton handles media and publicity. Paul “Chubby” Meehan is responsible for maintaining the grounds, and there are team managers for different leagues and grades.
The club has a rich history in the league and has achieved numerous accolades. They also have a Hall of Fame and recognise their club award winners. The club follows specific policies and has various forms, such as playing fees and players' code of conduct.
The club also has a gallery showcasing images from different events and seasons. The gallery includes categories like the 2019 Pink Round, 2014, 2011, and 2010, with a collection of photos from those years.
Training resources are provided for players, including a resistance band conditioning programme, sprint programme, meal plan for active individuals, and baseball conditioning and base stealing speed programmes.
The club utilises multiple venues for their games. Thomas Dalton Park is the home ground for the Pirates, Cringila Park is used by the Cardinals, and Hector Harvey Park is shared by the Chiefs and Panthers. Their website provides maps and ground status information for these venues.
