North Rocks Soccer Club (NRSC) is the oldest community football club in the area of Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1965, NRSC has a rich history and strong ties to the local community.
For the first 50 years, NRSC was affiliated with the Granville and Districts Soccer Football Association (GDSFA). However, in 2016, the club became a proud foundation member of the newly sanctioned Hills Football Association. With a sky blue and white playing strip, NRSC utilises three playing fields to accommodate its large number of players. These fields include the spiritual home at North Rocks Park, as well as additional fields at Murray Farm Reserve and Hazel Ryan Reserve.
NRSC welcomes players of all skill levels and backgrounds, starting from 3 years old all the way up to the Over 45's competition. Mixed teams play on Saturdays, while female-only teams play on either Friday nights or Sundays, depending on the age group.
The club places a strong emphasis on creating a family-friendly environment and prides itself on its family club image. As one of the largest clubs in the Hills Football Association, NRSC is well-equipped to cater to both boys and girls, as well as men's and women's teams. The club's inclusive approach is exemplified by their highly successful “Rockerballers” programme, which is designed for children with special needs.
NRSC is proudly sponsored by various local businesses and encourages interested individuals to follow them on social media for updates and news. The club provides resources such as a club history, training roster, teams' scores and fixtures, as well as information about grounds and their statuses. They also offer resources for coaches and referees, including handbooks, insurance claims, coaching courses and certification, warm-up injury prevention tips, and the FIFA Laws of the Games.
For any inquiries, interested individuals can easily get in touch with NRSC through their contact information provided on the website. NRSC continuously strives to create a positive and enjoyable soccer experience for all its members and is committed to upholding its motto: “Play Hard, Play Fair.
