Noorat Gun Club is a sports club located just outside the township of Noorat in the picturesque South West region of Victoria, Australia. Situated 45 minutes East of Warrnambool and 2. 5 hours West of Melbourne's CBD, the club is easily accessible for both locals and visitors alike.
The Noorat Gun Club boasts beautiful grounds complete with 4 DTL (Down the Line) traps, 1 designated Double Rise trap, and a newly installed Ball Trap layout. These top-of-the-line facilities provide members with an exceptional shooting experience.
One of the highlights of the club is the monthly DTL shooting competitions that take place on the fourth Saturday of every month. These competitions offer both novice and registered shooters the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against fellow enthusiasts.
For those looking to hone their skills and practise outside of competition days, the club opens its doors every Wednesday afternoon from 4pm for coaching and practise sessions. Experienced shooters are on hand to provide guidance and support to members, ensuring that they can improve their shooting abilities.
In addition to regular competitions and practise sessions, the Noorat Gun Club also hosts several major shoot dates throughout the year. These events, such as the Cash Bonanza and the Les Reicha Memorial Double Barrel, attract shooters from all around the region and provide an exciting and competitive atmosphere for participants.

Notably, Steve Holliday achieved an impressive victory at the Warrnambool Gun Club, winning the Overall Double Barrel event with a perfect score of 40/40. The Junior Team, consisting of Daniel Jehu, Tom Pilgrim, and Daniel Demasi, triumphed in their category with an impressive victory.
