Last year, Newman local Mitchell Outram successfully won 2 WA State Junior Motocross Titles, and then travelled to the 2015 Australian Championship over 6 days of racing! Mitchell who was born raised in Newman, races in both the 85cc and 125cc classes so can have up to 6 races each round which can be very strenuous and takes dedication with a strong mental approach to compete against the states best motocross riders. He gets support from Yvain Agir at the Newman Boxing Club who directed Mitchell's training throughout 2015.
