The NUMC is an affiliated club of Newcastle University Sport (NUsport) which aims to promote adventurous pursuits in a friendly, environmentally conscious manner while providing opportunities for members to develop their skills, knowledge, and leadership potential. The club facilitates activities for members across a diverse range of disciplines including hiking, rock climbing, canyoning, kayaking, orienteering, caving, mountain biking, alpine activities, and social camping trips.
