New Town Bay Golf Club

Located just 10 minutes from the Hobart CBD in Tasmania, New Town Bay Golf Club is a private nine-hole metropolitan golf course. Formerly known as the EZ Risdon Golf Club, this club offers a unique and challenging golfing experience.

One of the defining features of New Town Bay Golf Club is its notorious ninth hole. This 183-metre downhill par three boasts two difficult bunkers surrounding the green, adding an extra level of challenge to the game. Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to take on this exciting hole and test their skills.

The Club hosts competitions every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, bookings are required and must be made by a member. Online bookings for these days can be made through their website. Non-members are invited to join as social players on other days, but at least one member of the group must be affiliated with a golf club.

Green fees of $25 apply for non-members.
