Course has 18 black soil greens and is fairly well-kept with manicured fairways, short tree-lined fairway layout with even a few bunkers. There are a few slight doglegs otherwise most holes are straight with the black soil greens visible from the tee mound. Narromine Golf Club is 40 km west of Dubbo along the Mitchell Highway.
