Naracoorte Golf Club

Naracoorte Golf Club is a sports club located in the Lower South East of South Australia, specifically in the Naracoorte Lucindale Council. With a membership base of 250 members ranging from 9–99 years old, the club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for golf enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.

The club features 18 beautifully manicured holes, spanning a total length of 5,949 metres. The course is set in parkland on slightly undulating country, providing players with picturesque views of the surrounding Naracoorte flatlands. Each hole is bordered by gum trees and other Australian natives, creating a charming and distinctly Australian atmosphere.

The course layout consists of four Par 5 holes, four Par 3 holes, and ten Par 4 holes. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout the course to add an element of challenge and skill to the game. The greens are grassed and are often praised by out-of-town visitors as being on par with some of the best courses in Melbourne's sand belt. The fairways are generous and undulating, fully watered and mostly couch grass, while the greens are large and smooth with subtle borrows.

In addition to the exceptional course, Naracoorte Golf Club offers various membership options to cater to different preferences and needs. These include country membership for those living more than 80 km away, pensioner membership, and social membership. Members enjoy access to the course seven days a week and are welcome to participate in all club competitions and events.

Facilities at Naracoorte Golf Club include a clubhouse with a bar open on competition days, catering services available for large groups, and the option to hire the clubhouse for weddings and special events. The club also boasts a fine driving range with all-weather mats and three levels of grass tees, making it accessible for practise and warm-up sessions. The driving range is open seven days a week for both members and visitors.

Located on the edge of Naracoorte, just a short distance from the Riddoch Highway, the club is conveniently situated for visitors passing through the area. The layout and design of the course allow for quick games, with seven tees located within 100 metres of the clubhouse and car park. Special rates are available for those looking for a “quick hit” on their way to Adelaide.
