Welcome to Nambour Aquatic Centre, one of the largest swim schools and squad programmes on the Sunshine Coast. Located in Nambour, we serve the surrounding suburbs of Burnside, Parklands, and more.
Our facilities are designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the whole family. We have a 50m lap swimming pool and a 25m indoor swimming pool for those looking to do some serious laps. We also have a toddler splash pool and play area, perfect for the little ones to have a fun and safe time in the water. And, if you're seeking some thrills, we have two adventure slides available for riders aged 6+ years and over 120cms tall (additional charges apply).
One of the highlights of Nambour Aquatic Centre is our excellent programmes. We offer GOswim swimming lessons powered by Swimming Australia, which provides students with essential swimming and water safety skills. Our teaching staff are all outstanding and qualified Austswim teachers who are experienced, mature, and passionate about their job.
At Nambour Aquatic Centre, we understand the importance of water safety. As a parent or caregiver, it is your role to actively supervise your children when they're in the water. We have guidelines in place to help ensure the safety of everyone. Children under 5 should be kept within arm's reach, while children under 10 should be under active visual supervision.
We strive to provide the best health and leisure services possible, and we have flexible opening hours to accommodate different schedules. On weekdays, we are open from 5:30am to 6:30pm, and on weekends, we are open from 7:00am to 3:00pm. We are also open on public holidays from 10:00am to 3:00pm, excluding Anzac Day, Good Friday, and Christmas Day.
