Judo Coach Accreditation Course

Do you want to gain or update your Judo Coach Accreditation?

Judo Australia (JA) has launched a new Coach Accreditation Framework (CAF).

The new 4-tiered CAF has been designed to deliver effective coach development at all levels in Australia.

The CAF replaces the previous NCAS System (the Australian Sports Commission no longer uses the NCAS branding).

This full day course is designed for new and existing Coaches (including NCAS Coaches) to gain or update their accreditation.

The course will include the following three levels:

1. Assistant Coach – Coaches children and beginners under the guidance of a Club Coach (Min Grade – Senior Blue Belt)
2. Coach Judo – Coaches and conducts Judo sessions at club level across a range of athlete abilities (Min Grade – Senior Brown Belt)
3. Senior Coach – Coaches club and state level Judoka across a range of age groups and abilities (Min Grade – Shodan).  Applicants for this course level will be required to complete additional practical modules.
