The NSW Handball Association (NSWHA) is the organising body for Handball – indoor Handball (sometimes also known as Team, European or Olympic Handball)and Beach Handball in NSW. NSW Handball is a member of the national governing body, the Australian Handball Federation. NSW Handball’s mission is to support, promote and grow handball in NSW.
For indoor Handball we currently run an open age weekly Club Competition between May and October, a Schools Championships for high school teams in Term 1 or Two, participate in the Junior Championships with other States with U14, U16, U18, U21 boys and girls teams and an open Senior nationals in October. Our Clubs also compete in national Club Championship events. Sydney University and UC/UTS Hawks also compete in the Men’s National Handball league as well as our own Club Competition. For younger players, NSW Handball runs participation sessions for schools and in conjunction with Sydney Olympic Park.
We also participate in Gala days where possible.
