NSW Biathlon Association is the state sporting organisation (SSO) which runs Biathlon in NSW. Its objectives are to encourage, promote, advance and administer the sport of Biathlon throughout NSW. Membership of NSW Biathlon is open to all interested parties and members can join as Individual Members, Junior Members (U18) or Associate Members.
NSW Biathlon offers an introduction to the sport of Biathlon, supports biathlon for enjoyment, fitness, and recreation and provides a pathway for athletes who wish to go all the way! Athletes from NSW Biathlon have represented Australia at the last two Olympic Winter Games.
During summer, members can join biathlon shooting training sessions and be part of roller-ski sessions for all levels including introductory, intermediate and advanced. Shooting training is conducted at an accredited 50m smallbore rifle range with initial training in using firearms available through Alpine Precision Rifle Club.
In winter, NSW Biathlon offers cross country skiing instruction, coaching and training and the Perisher Laser Biathlon Range is a great place to put together your cross country skiing and shooting skills!
