Monbulk College

Monbulk College is a medium-sized co-educational college located in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges of Melbourne. Established in 1963, the college has a strong commitment to the pursuit of excellence and the development of students' full potential in all areas.

The college offers a range of educational pathways for students from Year 7 to Year 12. These include the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), Head Start, Vocational Education and Training (VET) programmes, and the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL). Monbulk College aims to cater to the individual career directions of each student.

With a focus on a well-rounded education, Monbulk College provides a vibrant co-curricular programme. Students have the opportunity to participate in activities such as travelling to sister schools in Japan and Germany, hosting exchange students, engaging in surf-lifesaving, studying Instrumental Music, joining the volleyball programme, and being part of the biennial college production.

The college is made up of two sub-schools. The Junior School (Years 7-9) emphasises a core curriculum that builds essential skills and encourages students to explore various subjects. In the Senior School (Years 10-12), students are given the freedom to pursue their passions and choose the relevant subjects for their future studies, whether it be at university, TAFE, or in an apprenticeship.

Monbulk College has received grants from the Victorian State Government Budget to support the ongoing upgrade and modernisation of its facilities. Construction of Stage 1 and Stage 2 has been completed, while Stage 3 is currently underway and expected to be finished by 2022.
