Monash University Taekwondo Club

Located at Monash University in Melbourne, the Monash University Taekwondo Club is a highly successful and well-established sports club. With a proud history of winning the UniSport Nationals Division 1 competitions for 34 out of the past 37 years, it is known as the home of Taekwondo at Monash University.

The club offers a highly competitive standard of coaching, led by qualified Korean instructors, who help members train to participate in state and national varsity competitions. Training takes place four times a week, with sessions held at both the Clayton and Caulfield campuses. The focus of training includes polishing technique, sparring, self-defence, and poomsae (patterns).

In addition to the competitive aspect, Monash University Taekwondo Club provides a comprehensive social experience for its members. It is a place to strengthen friendships and team spirit while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow Taekwondo enthusiasts. The club offers a safe and fun environment for members to learn self-defence, kicking and sparring techniques, as well as the traditions of Taekwondo.
