Moggill Football Club (MFC) is a non-profit community volunteer organisation located in Brisbane, Australia. With a primary focus on promoting fun, fitness, and friendships through competitive sports, MFC aims to provide a wonderful environment for players and parents alike. The club is run by a dedicated committee and relies on the support of volunteers to ensure its success.
MFC prides itself on being an all-inclusive club, encouraging respect both on and off the field for all members of the football community. In addition to welcoming individual players, MFC also encourages school teams to enter and keep friends together within the same age groups. This fosters camaraderie and helps create a positive team dynamic.
To ensure the smooth running of the season, all players must be fully financial before taking the field. This ensures that everyone is committed and able to participate in the club's activities. MFC looks forward to another incredible year of football and game development and encourages anyone with questions or concerns to reach out to the secretary at secretary@moggillfc. org.

The history of Moggill Football Club dates back to 1974 when it was known as Moggill United Soccer Club. Games were originally played on a site located at Birkin Rd, where the “Dog Park” now stands. Although night games were not possible due to a lack of lighting, the players and volunteers made do with a single light powered by a portable generator during training nights, often running out of petrol, which became a fond memory for many.
Over the years, the club has experienced numerous successes, with the senior men's team winning their first-ever title in 1985. Celebrations included the entire team doing laps of Bellbowrie on the back of a turfing truck. The club changed its name to Moggill Football Club (Moggill FC) in 2006 to better reflect its inclusive nature and commitment to all aspects of the sport.
MFC caters to boys and girls of all ages, from 4 to 54, with various divisions including Squirts, Junior mixed, Divisional Age, Youth, Senior Men, Open Women, and Over 35. The club has seen steady growth in its junior player numbers, reflecting the success and popularity of its programmes.
Moggill Football Club is supported by generous local sponsors, and the club encourages its members to consider supporting these sponsors for their products and services. For businesses interested in becoming a Moggill FC sponsor, a sponsorship prospectus is available for further information.
Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of Moggill Football Club. Whether it's coaching, managing, or helping with administrative tasks, any contribution of time is greatly appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering, no matter how small the commitment, please reach out to your coach, manager, or the volunteer coordinator at volunteers@moggillfc. org.
