Lunchtime Legends is the largest corporate sports competition in Sydney. The competition has been running for over 20 years and attracts more than 2,000 people every week. It is managed by Sportworx, a specialist sports management company based in Sydney.
By playing lunchtime sport you can:
- Have fun and keep fit during your lunch hour
- Socialise with colleagues from your workplace and others
- Network with other companies in the area
- Reduce Stress, blow off some steam
How it works:- Usually 9 weeks of round robin games (less depending on venue availability)
- 2 weeks for semi-finals and finals
- Games usually played between 11:45am and 2:15pm on week days - draw published in advance
- Sunset Sessions are available in the City during Daylight Savings Time
- 13 minute halves with 2 minute half time break
- Weekly “Legend” prizes are awarded to players nominated by the opposing team
The Cook & Phillip hard court is situated to the eastern side of the CBD, just 100 metres from the Domain on the Yurong Parkway. It is an outdoor Basketball court which is also suitable for Netball & Futsal.
