Midwest Enduro & Trail Ricders Club was founded by Simon Harslett in 2011.
Born out of a love for two wheels, the club is for all riders, if you just want to go for a ride, or if you want to take things a little more seriously and challenge yourself and machine, the club is the place to do it!!
Regular events are being planned, some will be a course of between 10 km to 40 km in length, and there will also be trail days/weekends, where we will ride from one destination where you choose how far you go (as with any of our events!! Be it Drummonds Cove to Horrocks, or Drummonds Cove to Shark bay or anywhere in between.
The club is suitable for any rider who is keen to ride in a variety of environments, and has rapidly grown in popularity and club membership. It has attracted riders from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels as well as a wide age group from 18 to 50+.
Enduro events are run over a four hour period, usually on a Sunday from 10am to 2pm, and can be run as a team of two or as a single entrant in an Ironman, the object being to see how many laps you can do either as a team or Ironman. The course tries to use as much of the different natural terrain as possible, from river beds to rocky outcrops.
