The Melbourne Taekwondo Centre in Heathcote! Our sports club has been a proud part of the community since its establishment in 1963. With a focus on teaching students of all ages, we strive to introduce new members to the art of Taekwondo and support them in developing skills that can benefit them for life.

Led by our Chief Instructor, Grand Master Jack Rozinszky, a pioneer of Taekwondo in Australia, our club has a rich history and is the home to Australia's only two World Sports Taekwondo Champions. With 12 branches all across Victoria, we are at the forefront of Taekwondo development in both Australia and internationally.

Taekwondo is a martial art that originated in Korea over two thousand years ago. While it has its roots in self-defence, it has evolved into a globally recognised sport and has been included as a full Olympic Sport since Sydney 2000. At the Melbourne Taekwondo Centre, we embrace all aspects of Taekwondo and offer programmes suitable for individuals of all ages, skill levels, and goals.

Our dedicated instructors are the heart and soul of our club. They are passionate and highly skilled in delivering an educational Taekwondo programme. Each instructor has a long-term connexion with the Melbourne Taekwondo Centre, having moved up through the ranks from class participants to Instructor level. They possess internationally recognised qualifications and bring a range of experience and expertise to our club.
