Welcome to the Melbourne High School Old Boys Hockey Club (MHSOB), a vibrant and friendly sports club located in Melbourne. Established in 1937, MHSOB has a long-standing tradition of fielding hockey teams and fostering a strong sense of community.
The club welcomes players of all ages and skill levels, and prides itself on providing expert coaching to help players develop and improve their hockey abilities. Whether you are a young family, a professional, or a student, MHSOB has a team for you.
MHSOB offers a variety of teams across different levels and age-specific competitions. This includes women's, men's, masters, and Hook-in2-Hockey teams for beginners aged 5–12 years. With such a diverse range of teams, there is an opportunity for everyone to get involved and enjoy the sport.
The club emphasises the importance of training and socialising together as a cohesive unit. All grades train together at the club's home ground, Melbourne High School, unless otherwise noted. The dedicated training sessions provide an opportunity for players to refine their skills and build strong team dynamics.
In addition to training, MHSOB also competes in fixtures organised by Hockey Victoria. The club encourages all players to actively participate and compete in these fixtures, which can be viewed on the Hockey Victoria website.
