McCormacks Mountain Valley Trail Rides is a sports club located in Mansfield Shire, offering trail rides through the stunning Victorian High Country. With over 30 years of experience in the trail riding business, owners Bruce and Deb McCormack, along with their experienced staff, invite you to join them for the ride of a lifetime.

During your ride, you will have the opportunity to witness breathtaking views from Mount Stirling and Craig's Hut, famous for their appearances in the iconic Australian film, The Man from Snowy River. Bruce himself, a former crack rider in the film, can point out different locations used in the movies and share his expert knowledge and experiences.

As you journey through tree-ferned valleys and beautiful river crossings, you will witness spectacular high country views and lush fern-filled gullies. Along the way, you will learn about the life of a cattle mustering family, as featured in Outback magazine, and see where scenes from the Australian Outback Spectacular Show were filmed, starring the McCormack family themselves.

For an immersive experience, you also have the option to camp at the mustering hut in Pannican Creek, nestled deep in a peaceful valley. As the horses rest after a long day, you can relax, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and share good company around a burning campfire.

Rides vary in length, with shorter two-hour and half-day rides operating year-round. Full-day to weekend rides and longer rides are available from November to April. Each ride can be tailored to suit your interests and abilities, ensuring a unique and personalised experience.
