Established in 2011, our club is located in the inner western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. Our home ground is Johnson Reserve in West Footscray. We are proud to be the only all-female and gender-diverse football club in the inner-west Melbourne area. We welcome players of all ages and abilities, providing a space for everyone to enjoy and participate in the beautiful game.

We acknowledge that Maribyrnong Swifts FC is located on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respect to their Elders, both past and present, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Our vision is that all women and girls are healthy, active, and empowered through football. To achieve this, we offer quality football programmes for women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals of all ages and skill levels. We also strive to create more opportunities for participation in football leadership, encouraging more women, girls, and gender-diverse people to get qualified as referees and coaches.

The President of Maribyrnong Swifts FC is Karen Cook. She welcomes all players to the club and hopes that they will find a safe and inclusive space to develop their football skills, form new connexions, and have fun.
