The Manly Warringah Wolves are a community football club based in Sydney, Australia. With both Men's and Women's teams, they compete in the AFL Sydney competition across various divisions. Founded in 1969 by Harry Marston, the Wolves have a rich history of over 50 years and are currently in a strong state. The Women's programme was launched in 2014 and achieved great success, winning the leading Division topship in 2020, just like their Men's team did in their first year in the top division.
The Wolves play their home matches at Weldon Oval in Curl Curl, which is known as one of the most picturesque Aussie Rules arenas in Australia, if not the world. They have seen recent success with multiple topship wins. In 2014, the Men's team had a dominant season, losing just one regular season game and winning the AFL Sydney premiership against Pennant Hills. In 2020, the Women's team capped off a dominant season by winning the top Division Grand Final against Wests at Kanebridge Oval.
The Men's Division 3 team also had a memorable season in 2022, defeating the previously undefeated Wollondilly twice in the finals and emerging as premiership winners.
The Wolves have a proud history of premiership wins, including 9 First Grade topships, 4 Reserve Grade leadingships, 4 Under 20s topships, 1 Women's premier Grade leadingship, and 1 Men's Division 3 topship. These victories highlight the club's success and commitment to excellence on the field.
