Mandurah Volleyball Association Inc. (MVA) is a sports club located in Mandurah, Western Australia. Established in 1988, MVA aims to promote volleyball as a diverse and inclusive sport that provides opportunities for everyone to participate. With the help of dedicated volunteers, the club offers indoor hardcourts volleyball to various age groups, including Kids (6-12 years old), Teens (13–15 years old), Juniors (15–19 years old), and adults.
The club operates all year round at the Mandurah Recreation Centres.
MVA provides term-based junior programmes, including Volley4Teens and Volley4Kids. Volley4Teens sessions are held on Wednesdays from 4-6pm on the show courts, and an advanced session takes place on Thursdays from 3:45-4:45pm on Court 1. Volley4Kids, suitable for children as young as 6 years old, is held every Thursday from 4:45-5:45pm on Court 1.
The club also organises the Summer Mixed Team Competition, with registration for the upcoming season taking place in the first week of Term 4. In addition, MVA offers the convenience of online fee payment for both club fees and Volleyball Western Australia (VWA) membership.
For those interested in representing the club at a higher level, MVA participates in the Western Australian Volleyball League (WAVL). The 2023 season has concluded, but tryouts for the 2024 season will be held in January/February. The club also organises various competitions, training sessions, and social beach volleyball for juniors and seniors.
MVA takes pride in its diverse membership base. The club offers Volley4Kids for children aged 6-12, Volley4Teens for teens aged 13-15, and Juniors Volley for those aged 15-19. Junior members who meet the age requirements can also join the senior teams. The club accepts Kidsport Vouchers, making volleyball accessible to children from all backgrounds.
