Maitland Tennis Centre has been in operation for over 20 years and has been a major part of the sporting community in the Maitland shire. Maitland Tennis Centre has been rewarded the N. S. W Tennis Centre of the year in 2002 and 2008.
Currently Maitland Tennis Centre has over 500 members.
Maitland Tennis Centre works with a number of schools doing tennis activities in school time helping students learn the fundamentals of tennis plus getting them out of the classroom and being active.
