Maitland Netball Association

Maitland Netball Association, located in Maitland, Australia, is a sports club that offers competitive and social netball opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels. Established in 1947, the association has grown to include over 2,500 members and boasts a rich history in the sport.

Maitland Netball Association is proud of its facilities, which include 32 courts built to Australian standard. In 2016, the club opened a new clubroom, made possible through a grant from NSW Sports & Recreation and in partnership with Maitland Netball and Maitland City Council. The courts have also undergone major renovations, with 17 courts rebuilt through a grant from Stronger Country Communities and the association, and a further 15 courts rebuilt with a grant from NSW and in partnership with Maitland Netball and Maitland City Council.

Those looking to get involved in netball have various options to choose from at Maitland Netball Association. The club offers Twilight Netball, where teams can register to play in girls, mixed, and women's divisions. For the winter competition, all registrations are done through individual clubs. Those interested in joining a team can reach out to a club near them, who will assist in finding a suitable team.

The association has a dedicated team of office bearers who oversee its operations. The current office bearers include Leearna Bennett as President, Cass Swalwell as Vice President, Marette Huckerby as Treasurer, Pennie Lieb as Secretary, Cass Conway as Umpire Convenor, Mel Comber as Fixtures Convenor, Tania Conway as Grading Convenor, Rachel Bridge as Registrar, Barbara Bird as Canteen/Purchasing Officer, Kim Starkey as Tournament Convenor, and Scott Coburn as Netball Development Officer.
