Main Ridge Tennis Club was formed in 1932 on a small piece of land donated to the club by a local family. A group of locals got together and cleared the land , then using bush poles and rabbit netting formed two courts .
Over the years the court surface has gone from Asphalt to Plexipave , and in 2002 the club upgraded again and put down Synthetic Grass .
