With programmes available throughout the year, the MRRC offers a range of options for walkers and runners alike. Our programmes include the Walking and Running Group (WRG), Start Running Group (SRG), and Intermediate Running Group (IRG). The MRRC operates in various townships within the Macedon Ranges Shire to ensure accessibility for all members. Locations include Gisborne, Woodend, Kyneton, Macedon, Romsey, and Riddells Creek. Each location has designated meeting points, and the club holds regular sessions every week. We encourage you to check our schedule and join us at the location that suits you best.
Joining the Macedon Ranges Running Club is a fantastic way to kick start your fitness journey and experience the numerous physical, mental, and social benefits that running brings. Additionally, the club organises special events throughout the year, such as the popular “Run the Rock” event. These events provide opportunities for members to challenge themselves, meet like-minded individuals, and enjoy the camaraderie of the running community.
The Macedon Ranges Running Club acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land and waterways on which we operate: the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung, and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Peoples. We recognise their living cultures and ongoing connexion to Country and express our gratitude to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.
