Maccabi AJAX Swimming Club promotes the philosophy of 'sport for life.' As Masters Swimming Club, they encourage swimming at all levels by supporting and guiding its members to enjoy their sport and maximise their potential. The club provides an opportunity for swimmers to engage in the club at a social level, however, also encourages participation in competitions locally, nationally and internationally. The Club is part of the broader Maccabi network and as such is linked to Maccabi World Union which boasts some 400,000 members. The pinnacle in the calendar is the Maccabiah games held in Israel every 4 years. The club also strives to strengthen Jewish identity through Maccabi participation. They participate in a range of events, including Masters Swimming Victoria and Masters Swimming Australia events.
