The Longriders Christian Motorcycle Club Australia – NSW is a sports club based in the Port Stephens Council area. It was established in September 1998 after the Christian Riders club merged with the Longriders CMC. The club currently has chapters in New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
The New South Wales chapter of Longriders CMC has members residing throughout the state, with a main focus on the Hunter Region. The club's principal focus is on bikers and the biker culture, but they also provide support and assistance to the local community. The Longriders Ministry aims to be there for people and offer assistance whenever possible.
The club associates with bikers and community members who seek them out and also participates in bike shows, poker runs, and other club activities. They welcome visits from interested individuals to their clubhouse and participate in various events and activities within the community to provide assistance.
The club hosts an Annual Longriders Bike Show and Family Fun Day since 2001. It was initially held in Medowie and later at Swan Bay before finding its current location at the Tomago Bowls & Sporting Club. The event takes place on the second Saturday in September and supports different deserving charities each year.
Longriders CMC also assists other charities, communities, and individuals in need throughout the year. They have regular activities at their clubhouse, including Biker Church on the first Sunday of each month for bikers and other community members. They also host "Mens Shed” Nights and Men's Breakfasts.
In June, Longriders CMC is heavily involved in the Bikers Annual Memorial Ride and Service on Mount Sugarloaf. The club also organises occasional Mystery and Social Rides for its members.
Longriders CMC is available to assist local churches, charities, and welfare projects in helping the underprivileged and those in need. However, it is recommended to check with the club before making any arrangements involving them.
