Affiliated with Life Activities Clubs Victoria Inc. we are one of the largest seniors clubs in the City of Knox (Boronia, Bayswater, Ferntree Gully etc. ) and are managed and organised by volunteer members catering for pre-retired and retired people aged, but not restricted to, 55 plus.
Formed in 1986 we are a not for profit, non-political, non-religious club.
Our members are interesting and like-minded people resident mostly within the City of Knox however the Club has a number of members residing in neighbouring municipalities.
With an annual membership averaging 200 our Club provides over 20 different social activities to encourage people of both sexes, various nationalities and marital status to socialise, make new friends, learn new skills and banish the loneliness of isolation that can occur after leaving the workforce or from personal circumstances.
Activities are held during the day or evening on weekdays and at weekends and new activities are added from time to time in response to member requests.
We do not have clubrooms. We meet in public places and members homes so come along and join in the fun!
Furthermore, we offer “try before you buy“. You may attend any of our activities up to a total of 3 occasions before deciding whether to become a member. Membership is $25 per person per year and covers insurance and the quarterly Newsletter.
