- Junior School – for 6-12yrs, students are introduced to the Cecchetti Syllabus and the Vaganova System of training. They continue to develop their ballet technique and are introduced to other dance styles such as jazz and modern.
- Intermediate School – for 12-18yrs, students further their ballet training with a focus on technique, strength, and artistry. They also expand their dance repertoire with advanced jazz and modern classes.
SKILL LEVEL ASSESSMENT Leisa's School of Dancing conducts regular assessments to ensure students are placed in the appropriate level for their skill and ability. These assessments are based on technique, musicality, and performance quality. Students may be moved up or down a level as needed to ensure they are challenged and progressing.

The studio environment at Leisa's School of Dancing is designed to optimise the safe training of dancers. Only dance students are allowed in the studio during class to minimise distractions. Exceptions can be made for occasional visitors with permission from the director. Students are required to wear uniforms at all times, allowing teachers to see the body for corrections.
Hair must be pulled back into a bun, and all jewellery needs to be removed before class to ensure safety.
Leisa's School of Dancing takes pride in its annual performances, which are a highlight for students. These performances take place at the prestigious Darwin Entertainment Centre, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talent and hard work on a professional stage. In addition to the annual full school performance in November, selected students also have the privilege of guest performances with Duprada Dance Company in April/May.
