Leichhardt Swim Club

Leichhardt Swim Club (LSC) was formed in 1962 shortly after the pool was first opened and has operated continually since then. It provides an opportunity for swimmers of all ages and ability levels to participate in swimming events for fun, fitness, or competition.

LSC provides for all swimming levels from 4 years and over, with race distances ranging from 15 metres up to 800 metres.

Swim Club races are held on Saturdays from 7:30am to 10:00am from October through to March at Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre.

Swimmers race to improve their own personal best times, and parents are encouraged to swim!

Learn to Swim children are encouraged to take the next step to the 15m splash. More advanced swimmers race against their personal best times in 30m and 50m freestyle and form strokes.

Swimmers may dive, jump or start their race in the water. The 15 metre splash is held in the shallow end, and children can be assisted.

Swim Club is great preparation for school swimming competitions, as well as being super social and great fun!
