Soon to become the focal point of swimming in Central Queensland, the South Rockhampton Swimming Pool is undergoing a large-scale $17m upgrade. The upgraded facility will provide a high performance 10 Lane 50m Olympic Sized swimming pool capable of holding a national championships along with a complete programme pool dedicated to Learn to Swim and an abundance of leisure orientated activities for the entire community to utilise. The important upgrade to the South Rockhampton Facility will ensure a sustainable growth within the sport of swimming is achieved and the Rockhampton Community can access a large variety of Lifestyle, Health, and Wellbeing programmes and services.
