At Lamont Dance, students can select a number of different styles and classes to suit their needs.
Students are offered Classical Ballet (RAD), Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Lyrical, Tap, and Musical Theatre Dance. Students participate in the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Examinations and Lamont students have had a 100% pass rate, receiving Merits and Distinctions.
Lamont also offers Solo and Competition classes for those who wish to excel in their dancing.
Lamont Elite Dance Groups successfully enter various competitions throughout Sydney including Northern Beaches Eisteddfod, Dancelife Unite, Ultimate Dance Challenge and Sydney Eisteddfod.
They won Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions in 2012 and were featured on Channel 10.
2018 Lamont Open Age Jazz Students came first in the Dance Life Unite Regional Final. They then placed 3rd in their National Competition.
Lamont Dance is always evolving and keeping up with the latest trends and styles. All forms of dance alters slightly from year to year and Lamont staff continue to educate themselves with these changes.
