Albert Pony Club is a prominent sports club located in the rear of Rawlings Park Reserve in Lake Albert, Wagga Wagga. With an active membership of 78 riding members ranging from ages 3 to 24, as well as a solid parental membership base, Lake Albert Pony Club offers a thriving community for equestrian enthusiasts in the area.
The club organises rallies on the first, third, and fifth (if applicable) Sunday of every month. The rallies commence with gear check at 9:30am and continue until approximately 3:00pm in the afternoon. Cancellations and rally information are conveniently communicated through email and the club's Facebook page, keeping members updated and informed.
Lake Albert Pony Club values the importance of community engagement and aims to provide a comprehensive calendar of events that not only covers the club's grounds but also showcases other events that may be of interest to its members and their families. This includes agricultural shows, events by the Wagga and District Adult Riding Club, local competitions, and activities at CSU, among others. By consolidating relevant information in one place, the club aims to assist families in planning and attending these events.
