Korumburra Basketball Association has received recognition for its commitment and excellence. In the 2018/19 season, they were awarded the VJBL Small Association of the Year. The association continues to deliver successful outcomes, with their teams securing topship titles and obtaining outstanding achievements, such as the inclusion of one of their players, Patrick Ryan, in the Australian Men's Squad for the 2019 FIBA Under-17 Oceania Championships, followed by a scholarship to the AIS Basketball Centre of Excellence.
