Knox BMX is a vibrant sports club located in Melbourne, specifically within the park-like surroundings of the recreation precinct on Bunjil Way in Knoxfield. Every 1st and 3rd Friday, Knox BMX hosts thrilling race nights that attract riders from all over the state. With a nominal fee of $8 per rider, it presents great value for money. Families with three or more riders also enjoy a family discount of $20. It's worth mentioning that Knox BMX promotes a smoke and alcohol-free environment at all times, making it the perfect setting to bring the whole family.

Founded in 1980, Knox BMX has a rich history in the sport. The original track was located at Lewis Rd, Knoxfield, before the club moved to its present location in 1993. Being a volunteer-run club, Knox BMX takes pride in nurturing an inclusive and family-oriented environment. It encourages all members to volunteer and contribute towards creating a place where lifelong memories are made.

Whether it's helping out in the canteen, running club events, participating in working bees, assisting with open races, or even joining the committee, there are plenty of ways to get involved and help shape the club's future.

Knox BMX has an excellent facility that is diligently maintained by volunteers and with support from the Knox City Council. In April of last year, the completion of the bitumen berms project significantly improved the track's speed, ensuring it runs smoothly regardless of the weather conditions. Spanning over 300 metres, the track caters to riders of all abilities, making it easy for beginners and challenging enough for experienced riders. The presence of light towers also allows for nighttime riding, adding a unique and exciting dimension to the club's offerings.
