Mylonas is the founder, chairman, and chief instructor of Kempo Genbu Ryu International Karate Organisation – Chatswood. Situated in Sydney, Australia, Kempo Genbu Ryu is renowned as Australia's leading Kempo group. Though their Dojos are exclusively located in Sydney, they enjoy strong support across the city and actively participate in the Australian Karate (Martial Arts) community.

Kempo Genbu Ryu follows a Japanese Kempo Style, in contrast to American (Kenpo) or western freestyle-based styles. Their focus is to uphold the traditions and cultures of Japanese Karate in their teaching methods and Dojo culture. Recognised as the Parent Art of Karate, Kempo Genbu Ryu holds a deep sense of honour and dedication to their training. They pride themselves on maintaining a regime of sincere Budo-style (Warrior-style) discipline within their Dojo network.

Kempo Genbu Ryu has excelled in Kickboxing, particularly under the teachings of Yoshiji Soeno, Japan's greatest Kickboxing and Karate Champion. Soeno, who is Kancho Peter Mylonas' mentor, teacher, and 'big brother' of Budo/Karate, is Mas Oyama's youngest original Black Belt student and is known as the Tiger of Kyokushin. The Kempo Genbu Ryu Kickboxing programme is named after him and is called “Soeno Kickboxing.

The Grappling programme at Kempo Genbu Ryu integrates hand and body locks and incorporates Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. They provide training in both ground and stand-up combat with grappling. This programme is known as Kempo Genbyu Ryu Broz Grappling and is led by grappling master Fabricio Mendoca.
